 Having discovered the wooden floors in a terrible state from years of being covered with carpets in the flat we had just purchased, we thought there was nothing to be done other than put down laminate. How wrong we were! Vinny and Ronnie gave us their expert advice that they could bring the floor back to its former glory, and true to their word we are now enjoying a stunning floor. Organised and timely, these guys don't cancel on you last minute. The job was finished the day they said it would be - no disappointments, ever. Vinnie and Ronnie did a great job, they were in and finished on time, and everything was clean and tidy when they left. I liked the fact too you got to meet the people who were actually going to do the job when they did the estimate- no sub-contracting. The price was a good bit less than other quotes I got too. I was stunned by how good my floor looked. All in all- great job!

Vinnie and Ronnie sanded and revarnished two rooms and a hall for us. In the process they corrected faults in the flooring, which had been laid by someone else. They were hard working, did an excellent job and kept dust levels to a minimum. We are delighted with the results and happy to recommend them to anyone who is considering using them.

After reading the reviews of work done by Ronnie and Vinnie of Annfield Flooring I was confident that they were the people I wanted to repair and sand my lounge floor. I was not disappointed in any way whatsoever, in fact they exceeded my expectations and you would not believe that it was the same floor that they had started on! Ronnie and Vinnie work extremely hard, are courteous and friendly and the whole process was handled in an exceptionally professional and straightforward manner. I would definitely use them again and have no reservation at all in recommending them most highly.

Annfield originally laid our kitchen & dining room floor in June last year removing the previous hardwood floor beforehand. The fact that they discovered part of the floorunder the hardwood floor was tiled, it didn't phase them, the offending tiles were removed and the new floor laid to an exceptional standard. Acouple of months ago we had a new kitchen fitted resulting in some discolouration where previously the floor had been covered by units so we called the guys back. They checked it out and we agreed that they would re-coat the whole floor and sure enough they phoned giving us a couple of days notice, arrived as agreed, scarified the floor and re-varnished it. Our floor is now pristine again, we cannot recommend these guys highly enough, top quality guys doing a top class job.

They stepped in at really short notice to sand and varnish two rooms, as another company had not turned up. They worked incredibly hard as they had other jobs organised and finished the work on time. The results were fantastic and everyone has remarked on the difference to the floors. They are completely trustworthy and reliable. Everything was left clean and tidy. I wish all tradesmen and companies were like them.

Great job on our two front rooms in 1900s tenament. Reliable and hardworking, Ronny and Vinny had the job completed swiftly. Great result as they had salvaged similar aged flooring from elsewhere which matched up to our floor perfectly. Did a great job on the repairs and sealing the floors before sanding and varnishing. Our floor is now feeling a lot more secure underfoot (in fact it is uncomparable!) and looks great. Gordon Jan2011.

Our kitchen floorboards were in need of a make over after we removed a tile floor that was laid over it by previous owners. I found Annfield Flooring through Google and was impressed by the positive reviews. From the first visit I knew I could trust Vinny and Ronny to do a good job. First they cleared the old crumbling filler from the gaps, made some minor repairs, fixed some squeaking boards, sanded the whole floor, filled all the gaps (essential in a kitchen!) and put the varnish on. This was all done over 2 days while we were away on holiday. (it was their suggestion to do it this way, and it makes sense: we were spared of the noise, dust and smell of the products.) We came home to a brand new floor, and the varnish had had plenty of time to harden. Very pleased with the result. I knew we could have gotten a cheaper quote from another guy, but Annfield were far superior in their approach and use really good filler and varnish. I would certainly recommend Annfield flooring. They are very friendly, trustworthy and efficient, and above all know their trade.

Amazing results with floorboards we'd given up for lost "Fenedin" August 21, 2010
We had an old hall floor with original cracked and creaking wooden floorboards from the late 1800s. Nails were sticking up and ripping my favourite socks. We'd given up on the floor and my husband wanted to put down carpeting over it.

After a very optimistic inspection from Annfield, along with pictures of what they'd done before, we went for it. An easy decision given the cost was only slightly more than carpeting the area. Money well spent. The guys came in promptly, ensured all doorways were sealed with plastic to keep in the dust, and went to work. Within one day there was a massive difference. It didn't look like the same floor. The following day was finished with stain and varnish, and the final result was unbelievable. The floor looked like brand new hardwood flooring which we could never have afforded. No more creaks. No more nails sticking up. No floorboards replaced, just a couple cracked ones repaired so they were once again even and smooth. The colour was lovely. Couldn't have asked for anything better.

I'm very grateful for the service Annfield provides, salvaging floors rather than covering them up or replacing them.

The lads did our hall and living room and the result was superb. An excellent finish and no hint of any gaps. This was no mean feat either as the hall boards were in a hell of a state.
They were really sound, punctual and easy to talk to. If we have more flooring done, I'll be looking to use these guys again.

Absolutely excellent service and superb job done with a real perfectionist's approach. No cutting corners with Ronnie and Vinnie! Turned up on time both days, explained clearly options and what in their expert opinion would work best ...and it did! Very friendly and approachable and clearly take huge pride in their work. Annfield laid my oak engineered flooring in my hall and lounge. They did a fabulous job, listening to everything I asked for and giving honest advice what would work and what wouldn't. They are completely professional and were friendly and easy to work with. They also tidied up the mess afterwards. The flooring was well laid and was lined up to be straight with the walls and fireplace and the finishes were very good. The skirtings were also removed and then placed back on afterwards. Both Ron and Vinny went out of their way to do an excellent job and I was really pleased with the results.

I would recommend Annfield to anyone, they came and did our spare room in April within a week of our enquiry, and by 6pm we had a beautiful finished new floor, with no dust, stress or mess! Entirely trustworthy and we will definitely be using them again when we need our other rooms doing. The price was really reasonable and completely worth it, we'll never try and do them ourselves again!

I was recommended Annfield Flooring. Ronny and Vinny did an excellent job of our hall floor after we attempted it ourselves, then realised it really does take skilled professionals! We then asked them back to do our kitchen floor, the floorboards were a complete mess having been under lino, but we saw the potential and Annfield came in and skillfully filled all gaps, fixed any squeky boards, replaced some with reclaimed floor and sanded and varnished them like new - but keeping the character of the old floor ... in all a fantastic job and would definintely recommend them. I got several quotes to restore my living room floor - I chose Annfield because they gave me honest advice, were the only ones who were able to remove the dirt from all the cracks and who used antique wood to replace broken boards. I was having quite a bit of work done on my flat and because i was getting radiators moved I couldnt start the floor until after this, the plumber let me down several times and the guys were really helpfull and understanding - even working late and fitting me round their other jobs so my floors could be done in time. I never expected my floors to look so great, am delighted with them!

We called Annfield Flooring after a recommendation from a friend, and they didn't disappoint. They sanded and varnished one medium-sized room in our old tenement flat, and fixed up some problem areas in the rest of the house. It's all come up looking great. We had three quotes for doing our new kitchen floor and they were the only ones who knew how to remove the black paint properly. There was extra filling to do and they didn't charge us for it. The finished boards are fantastic and the they were both very courteous. I would definitely use them again.

We had three rooms and a large hall sanded and varnished. Annfield were efficient,skilled and good value for money. The floors are beautiful and the customer service was also very good. They could not have been more helpful providing us with photographs of previous work and samples of wood stain to help inform our choice. They also offered advice on how to care for the floors afterwards.We are delighted with the job and would highly recommend Annfield flooring.

My wife and I called Annfield flooring and asked for our sitting room floor boards to be sanded. They arrived on time and completed the job as agreed. We were very happy with the result and price.
